Introductory Nutrient Support This article explains how you can track micronutrients in the Cleveland Clinic Diet app. In This Article Viewing Micronutrient Data Missing Nutrition Information Viewing Micronutrient Data Our team has been working to support micronutrient tracking in the Cleveland Clinic Diet app, and we’re excited to add this information to the food database. At this time, micronutrient information is only available when: Viewing the Full Nutrition Label of a food entry Viewing a Meal Summary from the Journal tab Viewing your Daily Macronutrients on the Program tab It is not currently possible to individually track any of these micronutrients as part of your program. We hope to get this further integrated in the Cleveland Clinic Diet app in the future! Missing Nutrition Information Historically, food data regulations have required manufacturers only to identify our currently supported macronutrient values. Other micronutrient data are not heavily regulated and therefore often not reported or quantified. For this reason, we only recently offered the option to provide complete micronutrient information. Now that we support this, the micronutrient data simply doesn’t exist yet for many foods in our database. We want our customers to have access to as much information as possible, so we’ve made it possible for you to edit and correct the full nutritional information for a food. If you do come across an incomplete food, you can tap Edit Nutrition to provide the missing information and update the entry for all members.
